NBA fines Memphis Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks $35,000 for pushing a cameraman to the sideline while diving for a loose ball, NBA announced Friday.

The incident happened late in the second quarter of Wednesday’s 138-119 loss to the Miami Heat. The loss marked the end of a three-game winning streak for the team, currently ranked No. 2 in the Western Conference.

As you can see in the video below, Brooks appeared to dive for a loose one and toss it back into play. As he used the corner of the press box to propel himself back up, he apparently shoved a camera operator. The impact caused the cameraman to fall back with the equipment as Brooks left.

Brooks was not issued a technical foul for his actions.

NBA players and coaches are subject to automatic one-game suspensions without pay after 16 technical fouls in a season. Brooks earned the concussion earlier this month during a fourth quarter loss against the Denver Nuggets. Exceeding the league’s technical foul limit resulted in an automatic suspension, causing him to miss the team’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Now, he faces another suspension without pay for every two technical fouls he commits this season.
